New in this update is the addition of a column in list mode for people that shows how many likes they have and also an option to match this data in smart folders.

Significant improvements to saving content from a wall have been completed. It's now possible to save only visible people that have liked or commented on a wall to a new folder (without having to download the entire history of the wall). You can also choose to like all visible posts and/or comments. Comment and like buttons now have a contextual menu associated with them that allows you to save the people who have commented/liked a post to a folder, or like all the comments (right-click or control-click to access it). It's safe to cancel a download in progress, any data already downloaded will be saved.

You can now view a list of people that have been invited to an event.

Data migration now shows it's progress, although it could use some improvements from Apple's side.

This update fixes compatibility with recent Facebook changes to viewing friends and page likes.

New in this update is the ability to use variables in messages and wall posts. Variables can be used to substitute the recipients name and more. Also new is the ability to view people's likes in the main content area and filtering options for downloading likes.

Per-account proxy settings have been added in this update for Pro users. To change the proxy settings for your account open the preferences in Flirt and choose Accounts then select the Proxies tab. You must use a secure proxy such as HTTPS or a SOCKS proxy that supports encryption because Flirt only uses secure connections when communicating with Facebook.

Build 120 fixes missing resources.

This update fixes a critical problem caused by Facebook. Also fixed is an issue where the search field would constantly lose focus.

This is an interim release due to the fact that there are still problems caused by Facebook that they need to fix. Searching Facebook is currently not working properly, in fact you can go to their website and enter a search phrase. Next try filtering by location, if they still haven't fixed the problem you won't see any additional results.

This update supports new authentication methods in the Facebook API.

Also note that if your account has “Login Notifications” turned on in your Facebook account settings that it is not possible to login with Flirt (or any Facebook desktop application for that matter). You will need to turn “Login Notifications” off in your Facebook account settings through a web browser before you login to your account with Flirt. Hopefully Facebook will fix this problem soon.

This update fixes a crashing problem that could happen if Facebook sends back bad data (apparently menu items can't handle nil titles, but empty strings are fine). Other fixes and performance improvements are also included.

This update fixes problems downloading “People You May Know”. Also fixed is an issue where automation would continue to try sending friend requests, posts or messages if your account was blocked.

This update also includes a new PRO only feature that allows you to see who has unfriended you and the ability to send bulk friend requests using many different accounts. To enable bulk sending of friend requests you must go into the Account preferences and turn on “Allow aggregate sending” for each account you want to participate. When you send friend requests from an account that is participating in bulk sending the friend requests will automatically be split between all participating accounts. A common setup is to have all your promoting accounts participate in bulk sending but not your personal account.

This update now supports tracking and cancelation of sent friend requests.

This update fixes problems running on Mac OS X 10.7 and adds full screen capability for your documents. Also fixed are issues with posting. Trial periods can be extended if you choose to like and share Flirt on Facebook.

This update fixes problems with sending messages if your account has not yet been migrated to use the new conversations. Overflow of activity has been fixed and imported folders that contain the same type of object will reflect that view style instead of the generic view style. You can now send event invites to people with email addresses even though they aren't your friend or don't have a Facebook account.

This update fixes problems on Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion). Data detection of text views is disabled on Lion due to bugs, hopefully a work-around will be available soon.

This update fixes problems with sending non-email friend suggestions and persistence of page masquerading.

You can now cancel events by holding the option key down when choosing to edit an event.

It's now possible to import files that were previously exported by Flirt, or if not exported by Flirt it will read identifiers from any text file and import those users from Facebook directly. You have the option to export comma separated value text files or XML files. Hold the option key down to export XML files (you must be holding option before you start a drag).

Contextual menus have been added to the source list and main views.

IMPORTANT

There have been several changes to the database format, unfortunately if you upgrade you will lose all queued friend adds, posts and messages. You may want to keep an old copy of Flirt to finish sending any queued actions then start using the new version when they have completed. If you have already upgraded you can still find the old document with the same name and a tilde (~) appended to the end of the filename.

It is now possible to unfriend your friends, join and leave groups.

Suggest to friends has been expanded allowing you to invite people from your Address Book contacts, or by email addresses you have stored in a text file.

You can now edit events you have created.

Messaging has been updated to use conversations (for those that have this enabled on their accounts). For accounts that can use conversations your messages can attach any files, if you account does not use conversations then any attachments will be omitted.

Security checks (captchas) will pop up in the lower left corner if you need to enter one, if your account is verified you will never see any.

Contextual menu items are more reliable and now show available actions for any selection you have.

This update adds three new features.

• You can now have your managed pages like other pages. You can do this by selecting pages in the workspace window and then choosing Facebook > Manage Pages > (any of your pages) > Like.
• It is now possible to create group events. Select a group that you are a member of and either from the popup menu in the list view or the Action menu on the toolbar choose New Group Event.
• You can add your friends to groups that you are a member of by selecting any group you are a member of and choosing Add Group Members from the popup menu or the Action menu on the toobar.

You will only be able to add your friends to the new group format, it will not work for old groups that display a message from Facebook about the group being archived.

New table columns for country and language have been added along with their corresponding filtering options. If you enter 2 characters in the search field it will be assumed you are searching by locale code (e.g. us, de, es). Enter more than 2 characters to search by a country or language name local to whatever language are you using on your computer (e.g. "United States" if your locale is English, "Estados Unidos" if your locale is Spanish).

This update now fully supports secure browsing automatically, all connections to Facebook and elsewhere are done over encrypted channels.

When writing a new status update or wall post an indicator at the bottom will help you stay within the limits imposed by Facebook (420 characters for status updates, and 1000 characters for posts). You can now add friends by dragging users or folders containing users to any accounts Friends item on the sidebar.

This updates expands sidebar folders and allows exporting data via drag and drop. When dragging folders you may hold the option key to copy the contents (including sub folder contents) into the destination folder. You can merge folders by holding the command key.

It is now possible to export data by dragging either a sidebar item or the contents to the Finder, or another application that can accept the data (such as TextEdit).

This updated fixes problems with logging in a new account. Facebook decided to pull the plug on the sms permission today without telling developers (or it's a bug on their part). Flirt wasn't using this permission but it caused problems when trying to login a new account. In the future this problem should be avoided with extra checks.

Also included in this release the selection on the sidebar has been made sticky. If you select Info instead of News or Wall it will stay at Info until you select something else.

This update adds support for downloading and viewing page likes. Most likely you will only be able to view all the members if you are the admin for the page, otherwise you will probably only see a subset of all the members due to individual privacy settings.

Facebook has made some changes to their API support for event invites involving the start and end times which should now be more accurately displayed in Flirt. If you don't already know Facebook doesn't include timezone information with events. You should set the start and end times of your events for the location that they are taking place. Obviously this is somewhat faulty on their part and excludes the possibility of events taking place over several timezones.
